About · 04

An engineering practice, not a reseller.

ServeCon exists because most infrastructure problems don't respect vendor boundaries. We took the seven pillars an enterprise operator has to solve, and put them under one accountable team with one operating model.

[ Positioning ]

What we own, and what you keep.

We own the environment beneath your applications: hardware, network, storage, cloud, security posture, and the automation that ties it together. Your engineers keep their focus on the product.

We do not resell software you could buy directly. We do not layer margin on hyperscaler bills. Our economics come from doing the operations work your team should not have to hire seven specialists to cover.

[ Methodology ]

Assess → Design → Deploy → Manage.

The same lifecycle applied to every engagement, from a single storage refresh to a full colocation migration.

  1. 01 / ASSESS

    Discover

We start by mapping what you actually run: inventory, dependencies, and where the last three P1 incidents originated. No engagement begins on assumptions.

  2. 02 / DESIGN

    Architect

Target-state topology, capacity model, and control mapping to the compliance regimes you sit under. Reviewed by your team before anything is provisioned.

  3. 03 / DEPLOY

    Implement

Change-controlled rollout under Terraform / IaC. Every step has a rollback rehearsed in a staging replica of your environment.

  4. 04 / MANAGE

    Operate

24/7 NOC engineering, monthly SLA reporting, and quarterly architecture reviews. Your on-call rotation shortens; ours takes the load.

[ Team ]

Shape of the practice.

A small, distributed group of specialists.

Led by practice specialists across networking, security, cloud, and storage. Each engagement is staffed by the practice lead closest to the problem — not by whoever is on the bench.

We stay small on purpose. Long tenures, real ownership, and no handoff between the engineer who designed your environment and the engineer on-call for it at 03:00.

[ How we work ]

Small teams. Long tenures. Real ownership.

Every engineer here owns systems, not tickets. On-call is compensated. Change is version-controlled. Nobody is expected to be an expert in everything, and nobody is stuck in a single lane forever.

  • 01

    Remote by default

Hire for the skill, not the postal code. Every team is distributed.

  • 02

    Practice-led

Each pillar has a practice lead; career growth is technical, not managerial by default.

  • 03

    Learning budget

Certifications, conferences, and lab hardware are line items, not favors.

  • 04

    Real on-call

Paid, rotated, and staffed enough that nobody carries the pager alone.

[ Careers ]

Not actively hiring.

We're not running open requisitions right now, but we're always open to hearing from strong infrastructure engineers — networking, security, cloud, storage, NOC. If that's you, reach out via the contact page and tell us what you'd want to own.

Next step

Bring us the environment you already have. We'll show you what it actually costs to run.
